Crop figures are the Ministry of Agriculture's Agricultural Production Estimates Survey (APES), and the season label refers to the harvest year (2025/26 is the 2026 harvest). Bank credit by sector is from the Registrar of Financial Institutions, and trade by partner is from UN Comtrade for 2025, the latest year Malawi has reported. Kwacha amounts are converted at IMF rates to 2023 and at Reserve Bank of Malawi official rates for 2024–2026.
